My name is Sheri Chapp. I am a multi-faceted artist with a BAA in Graphic Design from Central Michigan University. My minor was Multimedia Design, Production, and Technology.
While primarily trained as a graphic designer, I have talent in digital illustration. I often either color in or entirely draw illustrations using Photoshop. I also do photo-manipulations, creating fantastic scenes out of separate images.
Animation is another love of mine, though I am not as experienced in it as I would like to become. For the moment, Flash is my medium of choice, though I have experience in the 3-d modeling and animation using Newtek's Lightwave.
Through my studies at Central I gained experience in a variety of media beyond purely digital. Besides the traditional media of drawing and painting, I also learned how to make hand-bound books, both hard cover traditional binding and more artistic interpretations. I've worked in charcoal, ink, oil paints, wire, clay, cardboard, as well as film based photography. In a graphic arts class, I gained some familiarity with large format cameras, offset printing, and screen printing.
I have a wide variety of skills and interests that I bring with me. I am always looking to learn and grow, and to meet any challenge that comes my way!
